Nanosphere®️Coated Crossley Cotton Twill Navy Biker Jacket
The is a development 2x1 twill fabric and has been woven in a strictly limited run. It's spun by my freinds over at English Fine Cottons and woven over at John Spencer Textiles Mill in Burnley and then coated with this super special Nanosphere®️coating. The buttons are British Made from the Natural Corozo Nut specially for this project
NanoSphere® is a finishing technology based on nanotechnology that provides a natural self-cleaning effect and an extremely high level of water and dirt repellence. By means of nanotechnology it became possible to transfer the non-stick and self-cleaning process of certain plants and insects observed in nature onto textiles. This process specifically alters the surface of the textile with nanoparticles
The NanoSphere® finish leads to a structured textile surface. Like the surface of a lotus leaf, which is similar to a mountain range, fine nanoparticles form a rough structure. Water, dirt and substances of any kind cannot adhere to this “hilly” surface. They simply run off or can easily be rinsed off with a little water.
