This incredible fully lined peice comes in a dark navy 2X1 twill. The yarn is spun over at English Fine Cottons in Dukinfield, woven in Burnley by the John Spencer Mill, who have been weaving luxury fabrics since 1871, then coated in Rochdale with this amazing technology
 NanoSphere®

Nature shows us how. The leaves of certain plants always stay clean because dirt cannot adhere to their finely-structured surfaces. Rain drops roll off and, at the same time, dirt particles are washed off of the leaves. This function is also known as the self-cleaning effect.
The NanoSphere® finish gives an extremely high level of water and dirt repellence to textiles. In addition, the finish is highly abrasion-resistant. Nanosphere® is permanent on the fabric, even when subjected to considerable wear and tear as well as frequent washing and cleaning.
The NanoSphere® finish leads to a structured textile surface. Like the surface of a lotus leaf, which is similar to a mountain range, fine nanoparticles form a rough structure. Water, dirt and substances of any kind cannot adhere to this “hilly” surface. They simply run off or can easily be rinsed off with a little water.

Once the fabric is finished, it is then sent over to my Jacket factory in the old mill town of Bolton, where it is then put together by our skilled machinists
The lining of the jacket is in Union Jack 100% cotton, that is used in most of my jackets and the pocket lining of my jeans, from the British Millerain Company over in Rochdale
The buttons are from the nautural corozo nut, found in the Equadurian rainforest, then sent to my friends button factory Courtney & Co in Gloustershire where they are made using traditional techniques & new technology which are ecological, ethical & fully sustainable
